Allen Kenneth Rutzen
Allen Kenneth Rutzen, born 1935 in Altona Township, Pipestone County, MN, lived in Brooklyn Center, passed away May 16, 2021 in New Hope, MN at the age of 85.
He was a member of Teams Local 221 Union.
Allen was preceded in death by parents, Ferdinand and Hilda Rutzen; sister, Norma (Mitzi) Frost; sisters-in-law, Joyce and Pat; brother-in-law, Marvin Frost; nephew, Kenneth.
He is survived by brothers, Vernon, Harold, Wayne and Donald (Nancy); many family members; and pet buddy, Jenny.
Allen loved cars and fixed and restored many of them. Allen was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed a good joke or tease and had an infectious laugh.
Thank you to the caring staff at Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Hospice and St. Therese in New Hope.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 21 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4201 Regent Ave N, Robbinsdale, with visitation after 12 Noon. Burial following at Glen Haven Cemetery, Crystal.
