Alicia Denise Pedersen (Sande) 71 of Otsego, MN died peacefully August 18, 2024. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, cousin, and good friend. Alicia was born to Glenn and Sue Sande in Thief River Falls, MN on April 20, 1953. She is the youngest of two girls. In 1957 she and her family moved to the twin cities. In 1971 Alicia graduated from Osseo Senior High School.
On December 7, 1974, Alicia was united in marriage to Alan Phenow. They were blessed with a daughter, Erica. Alicia spent most of her career as a beautician at Fantasia working part-time while taking care of her daughter. After 27 years she transitioned into a new career in Human Resources where she met her future husband, Tom Pedersen at Zero-Max. They were united in marriage on September 20, 2003. Combined, they formed a family with their two children. Later, they became grandparents to six grandchildren.
Alicia took pride in her style and design, as well as her delectable cooking. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, a good joke or two, popcorn and movies, bowling, crosswords, concerts, traveling, golfing, boating, fishing, hosting, and overall spending time with her grandkids playing a Creative Director role with her inspirational crafting skills. She had a gift for thrift and would make trash into treasure.
We love her so much, her soul was beautiful. Alicia is missed beyond words. She is survived by husband Tom; children, Erica (Jeremy) Lindboe & Travis (Andrea) Pedersen; grandchildren, Jakson, Sofia, Jace, Savannah, Vincent, & Hunter; mother, Sue Sande; sister, LeAnn Sande, and many other relatives and friends.
