Alice Helen, age 85 of Crystal passed away 7/27/19.
October 23, 1933 – July 27, 2019
Alice was born in Avon, MN on October 23, 1933 to Peter and Lola Mool. She received Christian Baptism on November 21, 1933 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sioux City, Iowa, and was confirmed Mary 30, 1947 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Robbinsdale, MN.
Alice was an only child. She attended Robbinsdale High School and graduated June 7, 1951. She went to work for General Mills, North Memorial Medical Center, and retired from Hennepin County Children and Family Services after 25 years.
Alice married James Michael Winchester on November 12, 1955. This marriage was blessed with three children, Thomas Michael Winchester, Susan Kay Winchester, and Stephen James Winchester. In her later years she married Harold Leroy Rutzen.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lola Mool. She is survived by her children, Thomas Winchester (Mary); Susan Winchester, and Stephen Winchester; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Krause, Colton Lippka, Nicole (Doug) Olson, Nicholas Melser and Laura (Aaron) Frederick; great-grandchildren, Cayden and Kayleigh Krause, Carter and Nolan Olson, and Madison Frederick.
Service Wednesday (7/31), 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM at King of Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Duluth St., Golden Valley. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
