Alexis Shague Grant

Alexis Shague Grant blessed this earth on September 22, 1996 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was brought into the world by her loving mother, Melissa FireCloud and father, Albert Grant and was cared for by her dad, Curtis Regguinti until her last day.  She departed this world on March 19, 2025 and was welcomed into the spirit world by her baby girl, Kalahni, her paternal grandparents, Jacob and Irene Drum, maternal grandfather, Lester VanWert, Jr. as well as numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alexis was a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe with family members all over.  She started her life journey in New Mexico with her parents and two siblings, Demi and Damion.  Her first 11 years were spent enjoying warm, sunny days making memories with her family and friends in her hometown.  After her parents split, she moved up north to Spearfish, South Dakota with her mother and siblings.  For three years she made new friends in her new home and continued sharing her light with everyone. 

 When she was 14 her mom met Curtis Regguinti, who became another father to her and moved to St. Louis Park, Minnesota.  Here is where she lived out the remainder of her beautiful life.  She was given the gift of two more younger siblings, Jordan and Adrienne, as well as gaining three bonus siblings from Curtis.  As her family started to grow and she continued on with her life, she was blessed with the birth of her baby girl, Kalahni Melissa Grant.  Kalahni was the true love of her life and was her greatest joy.  And for the five weeks she was in this world, Kalahni made Alexis the happiest she ever was. 

Alexis loved to make the most of life.  She loved to listen to music and dance her heart out.  Her laughter and smile lit up a room.  She was such a beautiful person and her soul was the same.  She always made everyone feel loved and cared for in her life.   And she made everyone smile until her last day.

Alexis is survived by mom, Melissa FireCloud; father, Albert Grant; dad, Curtis Regguinti; sisters, Demi Grant, Adrienne Regguinti and Mariah Regguinti; brothers, Damion Grant, Jordan Regguinti, Curtis Regguinti, Jr. and Maximus Regguinti; aunts, Esther Sayers, Rochelle Greenlaw and Maria Morales; uncles, Lester Loud and Sean King; grandmothers, Dorothy FireCloud and Mariette FireCloud; many other close family members and relatives.

Funeral Gathering will be Sunday, March 23 from 1 to 5 PM at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S, St. Louis Park, MN.
